considering Tyson is broke and this is the biggest payday he's had in 20 years, my prediction is Tyson does everything he can to get a rematch. he'll carry him for a few rounds, pretend to get knocked out, maybe get disqualified, bite Jake's ear, anything to drum up enough interest for a rematch and another big payday.
Think of any sport. Take the greatest ever at age 57 and ask if they can still compete with an above average 27 year-old. The answer is almost always no. It will be interesting to see if this is different.
If it isn't rigged I'm going Tyson.
Closer with respect to Tyson doing better than he should?
Like what is Tysons path to winning this? (assuming it's a legit fight and not a work) He is going to be 58 years old when this happens so it's hard to imagine anything beyond 2 rounds is good for him in any way. So he needs to land something on Paul big enough to take him out in either round one or two and the question is, at 58 is it big enough to do that. I seriously doubt it. And yep, someone is going to bring out the classic Tyson knockout compilation on youtube from 35 years ago and the 12 second clip of him recently sparring and say "of course he can".... yeah, no.
Irrespective of your thoughts on Paul, not only can he legit box he has and is improving as a fighter. No he's not winning the world heavyweight title ever but he's a good boxer. And if this was a legit fight and he didn't smoke Tyson I would be stunned.
You're so clueless it would be pointless to argue with you
Result :Tyson wins by TKO (decapitation )
Regards, Ted Kaczynski aka Here comes the Boom!
I see this as a lose-lose for Paul. If he beats Tyson, particularly if it goes more than a few rounds, he looks bad for having a man 30+ years his senior hang with him. If Tyson wins, it's even worse for him.
Paul is fighting scrubs or he's paying off decent fighters to lose on purpose.
This is rigged too.

Jake Paul is not an above average boxer, and even if he was just average, he would knock Tyson out in the first round.
It has not yet been determined if the fight will be an exhibition and/or what the rules will be. It’s unlikely any sports commissioner, unless he received a huge bribe, would sign off on a real fight. If Tyson was seriously injured, he would be crucified by the media:
This is not a real fight, and it shouldn’t be.
Whatever Paul’s actual boxing skill level, he is a superstar self promoter. win or lose he will make many millions by boxing a 58 year Tyson.
I am sure he will make more in his boxing career than all but a handful of actual professional boxers in history.

This is true. I hate the guy but admire his ability to a)get into a combat sport and b)position himself to make far more than any legitimate operation from it.
It ain’t exactly the peak of athletics but it’s entertaining.
The fight is now sanctioned!

8 2-minute rounds and 14 oz. gloves. They’ve probably been instructed to hold back, as well.
