Not, like, a violent murder or anything, natural causes.
Really conflicted.

You’re talking about pretty much every house that has had a retired person or couple living in it. No big deal. And if you’re talking about an old house of more than 50-100 years then probably several people have passed away in it.
What is there's a ghost?
Surely most people die in hospital?
Would you purchase a property where someone has caccapeepeed? Not like a violent diarrhea or anything, just garden variety cacca that is the product of garden variety garden vegetables, like in a pasta primavera with corn for garnish.
How would you know?
I’m pretty sure a bunch of people died at home.
Here is the thing: " People die. All of them."
What? Would you only live in new-built houses?
My house was built in the 1770s. I'm sure loads of people have died here. Probably in the room I'm in now. They're dead and gone and don't care that I'm now typing nonsense on the internet in my pants in their old bedroom.
Why? Are you a 3rd grader who just watched The Sixth Sense for the first time?
This isn't like a prediction or anything, but I've been immortal so far.
It depends upon how long it took to find the body.
Sometimes, a home will have an eerie feel though. I don't want any part of it.
My parents built the house I grew up in and I was told one of the contractors fell to his death during construction. This was before I was born but no reason to doubt it's true. My dad even showed me where the guy supposedly landed. It was in the front yard so not "in" the house technically, but it never bothered me. Never heard any strange footsteps in the night or anything like that.
Ghosts, in the Hollywood sense, aren't real. You will not "have a ghost" in the house, so no worries. Ghosts are fake.
But your feelings about the vibe of house are real. An old, creaking, dark, gloomy house can have a bad vibe. It can smell moldy and have uneven air temperatures and drafts and weird noises. The light can be uneven (from old glass in the windows) and the wiring can be faulty, leading to flickering bulbs.
Those things might bother any normal person if they were pronounced enough. If you are looking at a house like that, then ask yourself, is it worth it? Is the house awesome for some other reason (location, price, size, yard, etc.)?
But a person dying in the house (or not) is not the issue because ghosts are not real.
Yes unless the body were still in it.
"Most" to me would be 50.1%, but it does not look to be most. And don't call me Shirley.
Hate to burst your bubble, but you are incorrect. I grew up in a home where at least 2 ghosts resided. Details can be had if you want them, but generally having activity in the house, mostly late a night, is unnerving. Would never want to live in a haunted house again.
Jeffrey Dahmer grew up in Bath, Ohio, south of Cleveland and one of the wealthiest areas in the state. The house he grew up in was available as an Airbnb rental for a while.
Lol.
