Changing the subject - like always when his nonsense was exposed.
Keino clearly has to be ahead of Vasala, you still disagree? Keino was two years younger than Herb Elliott.
That isn't the subject. Try reading the thread topic.
When in a thread about whatever someone claims 2+2=5 it's just natural to clarify that 2+2=4 even when the main subject is something different. When the one who has claimed 2+2=5 still sticks to it's original claim despite shown it to be wrong, than it's important for the main subject that all the other followers of the thread know this poster has no interest in a serious discussion.
Keino's 1500m pedigree is much better than Vasala's, in fact, Keino is one of THE greats (also not in the op 10) in the event, Vasala not.
Including guys like Vasala, Coe, Morceli, El G but not Keino, Aouita, Cacho, Ngeny because of doping just shows your bias and that you can't taken seriosusly (what anybody for sure knows long before).
In the last three seasons Ingebrigtsen has run the 800m on three (only smaller) occasions. To conclude that 1:46.44 just might be close to his limit is just silly. He might ot be capable to run as fast as Cram, but sub 1:45 should be possible.
I think he will not break the 1500m WR during his career, but the Mile WR definitely is possible for him.

Armweak is just that, weak. He had to use someone else's name as his handle because he is weak.
Yeah there is not much to be gleaned from it. Age 19 was obviously a little bit before his prime and in races not near his peak of the season. Age 21 was an early-season race, but we can say he was in pretty good form having run 3:49 to win the Pre Mile quite easily. True, it was mostly basework done in Flagstaff by all accounts, and it's unlikely he'd reap the reward of much of the specific stuff yet. However, the problem even taking that out of it was the conditions were bad and the race was only won in 1:46.5 by Van Diepen (1:44.3 SB coming in), 2nd was Gronstad (1:46.02 SB coming in) and 3rd was Deng (would run 1:44.7 3 days later). Only Deng went with the pacer in 51.55, with Jakob in the 52-high range and then hitting 600 in 1:19-mid. So Jakob didn't perform great in it, but it was a slow race, and nobody ran fast relative to their level in it. It was more of a measured effort from everyone but Deng.
Also to those thinking Jakob is always some poor sport, watch the interview post-race of this where he gives Van Diepen a ton of respect:
I'm not even going to visit this thread anymore. But this thread is a perfect example of why LRC sucks so bad at times. Only here, and only here, does a 3:27/3:43/4:43 not have enough speed. LOL. Mercy.

Keino, Gammoudi, Aouita definitely in the list of the greatest.
Armstronglivs has to take any of his favorite (Herb Elliot, Peter Snell, Walker?) and put them in the same conditions as the 3 preceding names and give them his "hypothetical drugs". I beat by by 1% that we would never heard of them.
That is the true definition of doping. Runners that are able to rise without favorable background.

I use the name of one who is the patron saint of doping. He is alive and well here.
In January this year Arne Hamarsland (90.5 years old) ran a 64 sec 400m -he was the fourth in the world to break 3.40 in the 1500m (1958).
Is this true? If so, it's way ahead of the previous age 90+ 400m world record.
No, it’s not true -I sincerely apologise. I must have been senile / unconscious in that moment of reading and writing. So here is the right fact: Hamarsland ran 64 sec in the 200m this year.
But my fact about his 1500m seems to be correct (after a double check)..
I stand corrected. Thank you for your pointing out..!
