Does anyone have any actual info on what happened? I'm genuinely curious about this topic but feel like I've been reading nothing but unsubstantiated gossip and weird running world reality tv fan fiction.
Interesting you say that since none of the women from OAC are making an Olympic team except Obiri. Cranny and McGee WILL be making the Olympic team BTW.

That’s why I posted. I’m genuinely curious why she left. Also curious about Fauble.
I mean if Team Boss folks are actually terrible people as the 1-2 vitriolic posters on this board always try to make people believe (I have no idea either way, just think the way the posts come across is too personal and bitter to be taken seriously), shouldn't the posters that don't like them just be happy that the whole group kind of blows and Joe doesn't seem to have any idea how to specialize his training for specific athletes?
If I was chasing the schadenfreude, I'd just be happy that it seems like more often than not, his athletes talk about how they are in the best shape of their lives and doing incredible training and then race day rolls around and they drop turds (Emma in the last 3 years, Emma Bates, Scott Fauble, Dani Jones, etc.). Seems like the only person that has really met or exceeded expectations under him has been Cory McGee, right?
if a coach or team isn’t the right fit for an athlete they move. what works for one may not work another.
no mystery, no drama
Perhaps, but she was there for all of, what, 4-5 months? All in the off-season. Pretty unusual if true.
In all the team boss social media posts showing training, I never saw Elise training with Emma or Cory in a workout. Usually Dom Scott which seems odd as track season rolls around and Dom Scott is putting up 2:27 marathons not running 1500/5000. I know it was off season and Elise probably does more volume but seems like this could be an indicator.
Alright, once you start the attacks based on looks we know you just have a bone to pick and have no credible information about the group dynamics. Sorry about your beef with the crew -- it's hard for me to believe that Team Boss has gotten as far as they have if they are sitting in a circle carving a pentagram into the ground trying to break up relationships so they can move in and poking voodoo dolls of other athletes.

My really limited understanding of this being on the outer edge of the Niwot alumni/Longmont running crew circles is that she never really formally joined the group, she just moved home because she wanted a change and to find her love for racing again and latched on for a few months but without a long-term commitment. Just a crew to train with. She also trained with athletes from toher groups in that time.
Maybe having two athletes in the same event (1500) is too close for comfort in an Olympic year. McGee was the 1500 person on Team Boss and then all of a sudden she has a major competitor around her all the time at practice.
