Lol neither of you are any fun at all clearly. All the guy does is spread positivity and share his running journey. Who cares if he drank beer during the race!!
3) Only about 30 people care about the time I ran, and I’ll never make any money off my running
4) It’s kind of lame if he makes less than 6 figures, but I’m guessing he does pretty well off of his influencer status with his 300K followers that think 3:27 is fast.
What do you expect from him? I mean he is an influencer, basically having to perform so his fans can be entertained. This guys is just doing his job. It shouldn’t bother anybody.

Fun or not, it's literally a CRIME. And he's caught on video not only drinking 1 beer but at least 2 with some fans without covering the beer up. He not only violated open container laws but he could've hurt someone. He should literally be in jail right now.

Cope and seethe.
He was drunk (he says he never drinks and had multiple beers), he didn't run more than 6 miles in the last 5 weeks, he stopped to talk to fans and he still ran a 3:27 which isn't bad.

Don't you all understand that the more attention you give him, the more popular he becomes. A lot of people here probably never heard of him and now will look him up.
Don't just complain on LRC. Drop a line to the BAA and the World Marathon Majors with details, screen shots, and news articles of this violation, his bib mule stunt at Houston, and his camera crew impeding other runners and creating safety hazards. Ask those organizations to ban him from further participation in their events and to implement rules and policies governing influencers at their events.

LMAO what kind of pathetic loser reports someone for daydrinking?
LRC really is full of virgins and incels that have nothing going for them in life except running.
Bet you were the type to report your classmates in college for underage drinking, too?
If Choi had a beer or two during the race, I honestly don't care. Where I care is that this is part of a pattern of behavior with him doing both sketchy and potentially dangerous things. At some point, is a runner going to get injured by one of his bike riding camera crew? While he's mugging for the camera with a beer in his hands, does he make contact with a spectator or another runner while not paying attention? When 11K+ runners with the BQ are turned away (not entirely his fault, to be fair) so he can run for content reasons or, worse, someone gets in because he wore their bib, that attacks the integrity of the event and the sport.
Most influencers respect the sport and others running the event. Choi seems to revel in a brand of narcissism and "I don't give a s**t about you! I am doing this for the views!" that is off-putting. Kofuzi doesn't act like God's gift to running. Seth Demoor doesn't fly his drone or have any homies join the pack on bikes. Elizabeth Clor doesn't do staged selfie stops forcing athletes to go around her. Nick Bare is respectful to others striving around him.
I am not the overzealous RA that you think I am. I am a long-time athlete, coach, and official in this sport. I am always going to support its reputation along with the needs of rank-and-file athletes over accommodating interlopers seeking to make a buck off of it.
