2 day meet this weekend, and I ran the 800m today. I have the 1500m tomorrow. Im pretty decent at the mile/1500 but for the life of me I cannot run a good 800. I always end up running 2-3 seconds faster than mile pace and look like a fool. I have ran 4:44 but cant even break 2:16. Any advice? Should I just not race the 800m and accept that its not in my range?
