It’s definitely not the world ending pandemic it was initially advertised as, but Covid sucks. I don’t understand the “it’s just a cold” crowd. I’ve had the misfortune of getting it every year, it genuinely ruined my track season last year, and I got it about a week and a half back and am struggling to run more than 4-5 miles a day still.
I’m sure there’s a study somewhere to validate my claim but I seriously feel like my Vo2Max has been reduced by 10 for almost a month after becoming symptomatic every time i’ve had it. I totally understand why it’s a genuinely threatening disease for people who have lung/heart/general cardiorespiratory issues.
Worst headache ever, feels like my head is in a vice grip

I had Delta, and it was like the flu, took mitigating measures. Then I got Omicron 16 months later in fall of 2022, and it really was just a cold. Haven’t had it since. This is pretty well true for all of my unvaccinated friends and family.
Get some Vicks First Defense online and take it, along with Zycam, at the first sign of Covid or a cold. Really hasn’t failed anyone who I know who has tried this yet. True story.

I've been immunized and when I got Covid I described it as "just a cold" cause that's exactly how it felt.

That 53 year old woman who died of cancer, the friend of Stephen Colbert who worked for him for 16 years. It appears that she was one of his dancing Covid vaccine syringes. Look at the images I posted in the vax thread. Sure looks like her.
