I got a weighted vest some time back that’s about 25% of body weight and I’ve been walking with it for a half hour or so, but all it seems to do is to tire my shoulders by the end of it while my legs feel like I just went for a stroll. Reading online suggests it’s supposed to stress and strengthen your lower body the most. FWIW, I also weight train, so is it possible that weighted vest walking doesn’t add much? Anyone who’s tried it and found it beneficial and if so how?
