So adding threshold work in the initial phases for your type of runner I would do them between threshold pace and 10k pace for those cruise intervals. I would put that in place of the early vo2max work. The hill repeats I would put in place of the early 800 workouts. If your peaking for June your 800 workouts are to hard. You can't do 3x600 at 800 pace and then expect to run your best times the following weekend. You should be dropping say doing 3x400 at 800 pace the first week maybe 4x300 the next etc. The last week you maybe do an easier 8x200 at 800 pace. You want to be sharping up as the hay as they say is already in the barn.
