Hey all! I wanted to know if my recent workout indicated the potential to run sub 10 for the 3200m. Today, I did 12x600m 90s rest averaging 1:51-1:52 completely solo. I think accomplishing this volume with less than 1:1 rest shows sub 10 capacity, but none of the 600s felt particularly comfortable and my turnover was higher than I would have liked. I honestly have no clue how I made it through 12, though I could have done 1 or 2 more if someone put a gun to my head.
For context, I am a little more speed oriented (56s 400m) but have been getting decent mileage (55-60 MPW) this past training cycle. I haven't done a race or TT since XC season so I think the feeling of racing might simply be something I have forgotten and need to remember. Any ideas? Thanks!
