I'll start. At 60 I ran a 3:08, off 55km/wk. I also ran a 56km in 4:25, passing through 42.2 in 3:15 (First half totally flat, next 10 ascent/descent 220m, last 15 ascent 300m, descent 220m
Its not volume, it is what you do. I probably could have done better but not because of weekly volume, I only trained about 13wks total, and 6wks prior to that getting fit again from scratch after abdominal surgery
