What are some examples of NCAA runners who were running poorly and decided to transfer, and actually ran really fast at their next destination? From what I've seen, usually their current situation is not the problem, and they have their own problems that is keeping them from performing well. They're unhappy they're not performing well and casting the blame on their current situation but nothing changes when they go somewhere else.
So I'm curious, are there some examples of people who transferred and started running really well? I don't mean small PRs, I'm looking for someone who was basically irrelevant with their performances and became 1st team All-American. There's got to be a few instances out there.
