This might be the first year UCLA doesn't get a single individual to indoor NCAA's in any discipline. They are on the bubble in the 4x400m for men and women. It's not looking good at all.

For all the credit Brosnan has taken for Staggs last year, he’s already PR’d in the mile at Washington. Most of the people who ran last year and this year have improved. Let’s stop this nonsense that Brosnan is some great coach. He did fine last year at UCLA, just like the new coach is doing fine this year.

Multiple sub 9min and a 8:44 3200? Aschbrenner ran a 3200 time trial during COVID with Nico pacing him in 8:44 which is really impressive. The only other sub 9 I can find was Appleford. Where are the multiple? is this multiple like all the AA awards?

People love to whine about not getting enough attention as "abuse." Doug Soles arguably another one of the great high school coaches has been accused of abuse of his athletes, particularly girls because he recommended, they lose weight. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the same case.

I'll chime in here. Ferris definitely has past issues with at Wake Forest. This is not rumor. On that note Brosnan has nothing to do with Ferris, his past or Ferris getting hired at UCLA. No reason to keep bringing him up.
UCLA was desperate for a coach. I know of one person who turned it down because of the future of the program and the current staff. The program in in trouble as of now and it's widely known.
