per LRC's weekly podcast from Tuesday . . . in lieu of the regular Friday Supporters' Club podcast . . . JG & co will be going live following conclusion of the featured 5k races . . . so probably around 10:00pm EST . . .
Looking at the Scarlet Heat of the 5000, there are several men seeded more than 30 seconds faster than they've every run (Travis Mohoney, Yared Nuguse, Mario Garcia Romo, AJ Ernst).
Three of Ky or Nico's teammates who have actual performances listed faster than any of the above are shut out of either elite heat.

Cole Spout, Theo Quax and Aaron Las Heras all have faster PRs than Yared in the 5000m. I think Yared should beat them and I'm fine with seeding someone with elite world class times in other events in a comparable heat. But unless Mohoney or Ernst are pacing they belong in the heat with Sprout Quax and Las Heras.

Honestly looks like a project some 8th graders put together in the late 90’s. Functions about as well and no results after races over. Let’s aggressively make it hard for people to follow T&F.

Almost certainly pacing for the unknown guys. They gave them ridiculous seed times so that they show up at the top of the performance list. IE Mahoney is a pacer.
For the pro athletes, they are giving them the benefit of the doubt that they can pull off those times. They are elite athletes and wouldn't be competing here if they weren't either pacing the field or aiming (with good probability) for the Olympic Standard. It may be unfair, but they probably were a package deal to secure the rest of the ON guys for example.
Did Ky Robinson get added late? Or is he pacing? I feel like I haven't heard anyone talking about him. Did Nico's workout overshadow him that much? He ran 13:06 pacing Blanks to 13:03, so with someone to chase, he could've run the Oly standard back in December. If he's there to race, I think he's got a better chance of going sub-13 than Nico. I think Nico has a better shot of being top collegian though.

Ky is going for the Olympic Standard. He is not pacing
I know it's not a marquee event, but my 800 kid from last year just got 2nd in the 500 as a true frosh. That made my Friday. I'll have a beer tonight to celebrate, because I know he won't ;)

Good mark. The winner was actually a local high school kid from Haverhill High!

Dang, that's impressive. They came though 400 in just over 48.

From what I can tell, the high schooler has less than impressive 600m marks (1:25) and above in comparison, but has run 47 in the 400. Looks like it was a good classic long sprinter vs short mid distance runner race.
