So high heels are fun & sexy, but nobody wears them all the time unless they want to be a cripple. Is there a difference between a date and a hookup? What woman is going to wear FMPs on a first date with some potential dork who could be a loser alcoholic, serial killer, or worse?
Prior to getting hitched, I dated a SoCal bombshell for 3 years. She loved making a splash in heels, sheer nylons and mini-skirts. The over-the-top presentation was her super power, and she reveled in it. She was a mechanical engineer, but also played piano and painted. Our first couple dates? Sneakers, then flats. The third date, a sexy red dress with white spike heel sandals. Weekend daytime hangs were just as likely to be running shoes or hiking boots however.
No I'm not a troll writing fiction, truth is stranger than fiction, yes?
We had a good time, but she was looking for a rich husband who was not me.
I have to agree with OP. Growing up I don’t think I ever saw a woman wearing loafers. I think it’s part of the womens lib movement.
Nonsense. A number of the wealthiest and best dressed girls in my HS ('66-'67) wore Bass Weejuns or similar loafers. It was a very preppy look.
This is correct. Loafers for women is a preppy/Ivy League look. It was generally popular in the 1950s and 60s and in the prep revival in the 1980s. If she comes from an old money WASP family and you're a gold digger, you may be missing out.
She had a cute face, but a woman wearing loafers is a major turnoff. Feels masculine to me. I’ll just tell her I have a few other dates and will get back to her. Anyone else bothered by women in loafers?
You are such a loser. If you’re not Jamin we have officially seen something worse. Listen to your Jordan Peterson podcast and clean your room.
