Some good Saratoga performances
Ocean Breeze entries list.
Lots of good Saratoga and North Rockland runners entered
McGinn will be running the 600 & 1000 here
Emily Bush dominates the Ocean Breeze 3000.
Saratoga 7th grader who wasn’t at NXN ran a 10:47 3k.
Saratoga will continue to be in contention for an NXN berth for years to come as long as the Kranicks are there.
1:27 and 2:40? Even for an easier effort that's pretty disappointing, especially as he lost to Keegan Brady from Auburn in the 1k.
Assume you're talking about McGinn. Losing to Brady (1:55 800m last Spring) is no disgrace. But yeah, 1:27 and 2:40 are pretty pedestrian times.
Saratoga boys team had some good underclassmen 1600 times at the Ocean Breeze.
Obviously their top 3 underclassmen scored for the team at NXR (Isenovski (10), Blaisdell (11), D Pasek (11)),
But here are some more underclassmen 1600 times for Saratoga
B Pasek - 4:44 - 9
Kerroum - 4:44 - 11
Chapman - 4:53 - 11
Miller - 4:55 - 9
Gargano - 4:55 - 9
Nix - 4:58 - 10
They definitely have another great shot at NXN.
Isenovski ran a 9:19 3200
9:19 is great for a soph.
Pair these times with the 3200m season bests for the 3 returners(9:19, 9:33, 9:36) and they should be a much better team this year
Freshman Boscia from Ithaca leading the state in the 600 so far as well
The entire North Rockland boys team was scratched from the Ocean Breeze
And a frosh from Monsignor Farrell on Staten Island ran 9:38 in that same 3200 race.
