Timpview UT’s Hedengren and Alder went 1&2 in the girls 1600. 4:47 and 4:49. Both are coming back next year
great to see Jane back looking strong and healthy. and thats a 5 second PR for Lily. worth noting that Lily's little sister Angie also ran and got a 5:17. the kid is in 5th grade... and Janes little sister did great too! so many fast Hedengrens and Alders. somewhere Coach Taylor is licking her chops...
Sadie Engelhardt ran a 2:41 1000 yesterday in the Bruce Lehane Scarlet and White Invitational against a bunch of local college athletes. If Im not mistaken thats the 4th fastest indoor high school 1K ever. Looks like she was just doing this as a warm up to the mile race at the Grand Prix. Hold your breath for that time...

Yes, will be interesting to see what they set the pace lights to in her race. They were set to 4:00 in Jo Jo’s race last night, and they had a pacer through 1200m.

Yes, Sadie Engehardt ran the 4th fastest high school 1000 ever, behind Juliette Whittaker, Sophia Gorriaran, and Sammy Watson. And ahead of Roisin Willis and Athing Mu.
But in today's mile, Sadie will be up against 4 top girls from Europe, so it will be interesting to see how she does against high quality international competition.

Crazy that so many fast girls are in one town. It's like a girls version of the Youngs and the Sahlmans.
And the younger Hedengren and Alder girls are running much faster than their older sisters did at their age.
