This is pretty much one of the biggest science discoveries in medicine in the past 50 yrs. The possibilities for using this tech, which has worked well with covid, is extremely exciting. It was developed for cancer. So, thank goodness they didn't ask you. This shouldn't be political, its the one great thing that came out of covid.

The Peace prize and the prizes in the disciplines are very different things. Even Obama did not see himself as being deserving of it.
I think the mRNA delivery tech is an excellent and amazing development that's very deserving of recognition.
At the same time, I wish the roll out of it would have been less forced, more natural, and more measured. I am not sure if the pandemic actually helped this development in the long term.

The delivery mechanism is a true breakthrough and lends itself to targeted treatments for cancer that should be far less destructive than radiation or chemotherapy. As a vaccine, it is suitable for those for whom it provides a net benefit (elderly, obese and the immuno compromised). Like all treatments, it is not without its risks (which those on the mandate side never were able to acknowledge). The main criticism I have had for this invention has not been for the invention itself, but for the government that has attempted to obscure from the public an accurate risk / benefit profile.

Nope. The U.S. Army did under top-secret military contracts with these people and others who shale remain nameless. It is part the the U.S. bioweapons programs that instead of killing everyone, are intended to cause panic and disrupt economies. The vaccine development was done in parallel with the development of viruses like COVID. There are others stashed away for future wars. A dangerous virus appears, specially vaccinated Army troops march in and take control over a frightened, locked at home, populace.
Trump was the stupid one who heard, "It goes away in two weeks," and decided the COVID would self destruct in two weeks. So, he decide to get back at China for losing his stupid trade wars, and had a few of his top people secretly travel to Wuhan to release it. The U.S. Army set that up by allowing U.S. contractors (Ralph Baric) to contract with them to collect COVID samples. Then, 12 Monkeys style the virus was released to "punch back harder" at China.
