Hopefully Rupp has all his problems figured out and runs well. If the pacing statements in this thread are accurate and he has a rabbit for 21k I say he runs this as a safety to get the qualifier and comes in right about 2:08. Keflezghi ran a 2:10 awhile back in Chicago to get an Olympic qualifier (he talks about it in his 26 Marathons book) and I think Rupp will just do this. Making the team for Paris is far more important, especially with all the issues he has had, to go out and risk blowing up.
