My understanding is that the USOC and sport federations (like usatf) agree to abide by safe sport decisions.

So ppl banned by safe sport are only banned from events sanctioned by those entities that agree to abide by their rulings.

I think the CAF works similarly.

I thought Safe Sport was just about coaching in a school. It doesn't seem possible that if 2 adults, not associated with any school, want to form a professional relationship, that they wouldn't be allowed to do that.

Nope, adults get sexually assaulted too.
