This case is pure and total garbage and everyone knows it.
Only corrupt Democrats would try to turn a minor misdemeanor into a federal felony to try to influence a national election.
You are going to love the part where they produce evidence of Trump saying to delay the hush money payments as long as possible because after the election it won’t matter and they can stiff her.
Donnie nicely elevated his misdemeanor crimes to felonies for the prosecution.
That's what he did in the Bathroom case as well. Turned what would probably have been a private admonishment from the DOJ (or even NARA) into full blown felonies solely because the guy feels compelled to be a 24/7 liar to everyone. Trump seems incapable of not being a lying d!ckhead even when it's to his great advantage to just act like a normal person for a few minutes.

I was going to bold the most important parts of your post, but every word of your post hits the nail on the head.

Much more likely Donald really had more treasonous motives to keep and hide our nation's secret documents. He did the crime, now he deserves the time.

These kind of posts are weird. They aren't even really troll posts. It's piffle. Drop in, say nothing of any substantive value at all, state some tired pre-fab opinion, then leave until the mood grabs you for a repeat of the same. To what end?

I don’t think the public will ever learn the half of what Jack Smith knows about what Trump did or planned to do with our nation’s top secret documents.
It can’t be revealed because the further damage it would do to our alliances, methods and emboldening our enemies.

Someone out to drive up site traffic by provoking reactions perhaps?

That's AITR. Not sure if he has financial interest in site. Anyway, this thread? There's maybe 5-6 people who read it.

You're going to love the part where your corrupt buddies figure out it's impossible to prove criminal intent on hush money payments.
Let alone that hush money payments are campaign finance violations.

Biden literally just bankrolled and greenlit an Iranian attack on a US ally for the sole purpose of appeasing his base for the 2024 election and you think his DoJ is worried about appearances?
Judge Merchan is moving this case along - the primary thing judges are supposed to do above all else - move the case along. He's decided all pretrial motions quickly, and is moving through difficult jury selection with amazing speed. Contrast Judge Cannon, who is seemingly incapable of deciding pretrial motions, but rather hands out weird, suggestive and ungraded homework assignments instead, while refusing to even enter a trial schedule on a case filed 11 months ago. Awful judge.
Trump's new lawyer Susan Necheles seems quite different than the usual idiots he hires. At least I think she's new. I haven't heard the name before. Quite an accomplished lawyer. Trump is lucky to have her instead of nutjob Habib Habbo on this one.
Susan R. Necheles Partner +1 212-997-7400 srn@necheleslaw.com "I recommend her unreservedly for her rabbit-out-of-the-hat results. She is an outstanding defense lawyer." – Chambers, USA Overview Susan R. Necheles has extensiv...
I still see opening statements happening on Monday, despite the two seated jurors being excused today. It was the prosecution, by the way, that discovered the one juror had not been honest about his prior conviction for, of all things, tearing down right wing political flyers.
Two lawyers on the jury so far. Talking heads seem to say that trends Trump. I think it just means the jury will be more focused on details and jury legal instructions. How does that help Trump? I'm seriously wondering why anyone would think it does. What am I missing?

Please don't forget that you're really stupid.
I recall a few other instances in this thread where you failed to understand what intent is in criminal cases. I don't know if you express that confusion in all criminal cases, or just ones where your cult leader Trump is involved.
You don't need a written confession or the ability to read people's brain waves to prove intent. You can prove intent by inference from evidence. If there is evidence that you told your lawyer to go ahead and create fake companies with fake documents to illegally move money around, or evidence that you told your employees to fake documents to make it look like payments were for something other than what they really were, one can INFER from that EVIDENCE that you INTENDED to falsify business records. It's not "impossible" as you say, and it really isn't even that difficult in most cases. Michael Cohen was aware of the law of criminal intent, which is why he pleaded guilty to all this stuff and went to prison.
Anyway, you were supposed to go through that document I linked -- pages 38 to 57 -- and tell us what corroborated evidence is "total garbage." You still haven't done that assignment, and now you're in here wasting time spazzing out about Biden and Iran like you're all gooned up on adderall or something.
2 lawyers on the jury for the filing false documents/election interference case so far? Yesterday Glenn Kirschner said on a video that he likes having lawyers on the jury -- he said they tend to keep the jury on track and remind them of the judge's instructions.
Prosecutor tells jury candidates: No one's going to testify that Trump said, 'Hey, let's falsify business records'.
Cased dimissed
As with many of your posts, your point above is so stupid, naive, ignorant and/or frivolous, that it is genuinely difficult to respond to, other than to note that it is stupid, naive, ignorant and/or frivolous.

Prosecutor admits it will have no witnesses to show Trump said to falsify business records. Yet the whole case is Trump directed people to falsify the records.
Case dismissed.
Sorry you have no argument to counter this because, yes, it is genuinely difficult to respond

No. Your point/argument is so stupid, naive, ignorant and frivolous in so many ways that trying to address it would almost lend it some sense or credibility to it when it has none. Thus, the only way to respond to it is in the manner that I have.
Trump's mouth handed his lawyers a strategic setback today. They wanted the names of the first three witnesses that the prosecution would call next week, and the prosecution refused to provide the names because of Trump's previous witness intimidation posts on his social media site. Trump's lawyers promised that Trump would knock that off, but the judge did not believe them. Trump must be the worst client imaginable.
Jury is in. Again, this judge moves things along which is his job. Contrast Judge Cannon who either lacks the ability or deliberately won't do her job.
Here's a question, if anyone knows. Trump has said he is going to testify in the Porn Interference trial. But, like most guilty criminals, he previously pled the Fifth during the civil trial brought by New York against the Trump Empire/Family. The subject matter of the two cases seems related in the sense that both cases were about fraudulent bookkeeping and fraudulent documents in New York. Can he selectively plead the Fifth like this? I know it's two different cases, but again, similar subject matter. Can you plead the Fifth sometimes and not other times? Doesn't seem right.
Opening statements on Monday! Let's hope the media reporting is accurate and directed to what is relevant.
