She couldn’t even beat Nikki so she knows she is not that great at 1500m, at least not yet. Of course she is saying that “hey I am new to this event, not even close to being good at this event compared to the 800m, and yet they can’t get away from me.” Sometimes you need to be smart enough to read between the lines.
