It seems like Huntington runners watch this so closely. Any time the last 2 years someone’s brought up Huntington, the message gets all dislikes. The cult is strong.
Lewis-Clark State is a program I would expect to get back to being in the mix following a down year where they lost most of their firepower to graduating seniors. Some good talent on the team and a good number of guys who can run in the 25:XX range. Only problem is that they don't look to have anyone who looks like they would be a lock as an all-american on the grass. Hard to bring home a trophy when you don't have anyone who can crack that top-40
The distance coach at Park U (MO), who was also the director of the whole program, has retired. Seems like a good location to build a program, do we think they can build a program that can make nationals yearly assuming they hire the right coach?

Park U was dominant with Renshaw on the women’s side from 2005-2008. Don’t know what’s happened since. I doubt Park U is able to be a contender in the next few years.

I hardly see them taking top 3 in their own conference meet.
College of Idaho and Eastern Oregon should be much better. Then out of conference you throw IWU, Milligan, St. Francis, The Masters etc. in the mix, it’s hard to see them getting a trophy
Is Huntington still being allowed to compete? I’ve been out of the loop for a while
Yes, Huntington received no punishment as far as I am aware. Lauren Johnson still is in contact with members of the team and even trains and races local 5ks with Addy Wiley. Lauren and Nick were both let go, Josh Neideck from Cornerstone is now the head coach. Haile Stutzman tested positive for PEDs and received a ban from the NAIA, everyone else has no consequences.
According to some people on here, Huntington is getting a huge wave of transfers coming in on the women’s side.

Huntington is getting 3 of Cornerstone’s varsity women from last year and 1 from Aquinas now
