If she runs she probably opens in 4:15 or so. It would be a solid effort, albeit roughly 26 seconds off the world record.
In last year's field of 15, dfl was 4:19; second slowest was 4:13. Would Mu still race when her training indicates 4:15 fitness? I think she either arrives in 4:10 shape or doesn't race at all.

Being old I'm taking this Mu in the 1500 fractionally more serious than when Edwin Moses said he thought running 2 sub 50 400s and breaking 1.40 in the 800 wouldn't be that hard and Carl Lewis when he said he might try the triple jump at the height of his career.
If Mu somehow does win the Olympic 1500, every athlete in every event should be coached by Bobby Kersee.
