I'm newish to running, and looking to increase race times. Currently use Xero HFS, Topo ST-4 for main road shoe trainers, so I like minimal/low to zero drop, but understand there aren't many CF options like this, so. 5-6 drop prob fine and ok with trying something with some more stack to it, as long as it is responsive to ground/without a big rocker, and a reasonably wide enough toebox.
Currently I'm running ~28/mi per week. 10K pr 47:47, 5K 23:13, Half 1:55:47.
Any guidance on different shoes to check out would be great. Looking at NB Fuelcells, possibly the Pacer (which I know gets mixed reviews), maybe the Vaporfly 2 since there seem to be some deals on that.
