This thread was originally titled, "Incredible development in the $612,000 Transcon Goodge run, currently ongoing" but the new title is more descriptive. The description of the run is here.
32.25 days in and PK was approaching 2400 miles. PJ somewhere in the mid 1800's. He's gapped him by ~ 500 miles in just 4.5 weeks.
I will admit to being very impressed at PJ’s progress regardless of his misrepresentations and illgotten fundraising proceeds. With such a slow marathon PR and so little training, did not think he would make it this far. But, he’s mostly walking and using poles heavily so maybe it’s not impressive.
Not all that much to compare it to, but I'm going with "not that impressive". Didn't the much older prof lady with the 3:20 marathon PB do much better?

This guy is an athletic popinjay and fraud.
It can be pretty impressive even if someone else (prof lady or PK) was superlative.
We’re talking 1800+ miles in less than five weeks; that’s nothing to sneeze at.
“the legs aren’t working” is because of the haters?
Fascinatingly this was the reasoning given by Dave Reading and "he's wife" Terrie for why his epic Land's End to John O'Groats shuffle, walk, cycle ended after 60 or so very slow miles.
I just finished running 7.5 miles with PJ through parts of St. Louis. The support along those miles were incredible. There were between 4-10 of us running with him at all times with one guy who started with him this morning and banged out almost 40 miles with him step by step.
The devious and naysayers may say what they want about him. But, when a kid who clearly isn't a runner runs a 1/2 a mile with him just to get an autograph on a Chic-fil-a wrapper and a pic, two church workers run a mile, and 6 3-5 year olds are out cheering him on and at least 15 cars a parked along the route to cheer him on shows the inspiration he has become. You may talk about the negative effects of social media, but in this instance, social media has shown people that more is possible than they thought about themselves.
He isn't going for the record, so just drop that narrative. But, he IS inspiring many many people with every step he takes!

Thanks for helping to keep him honest, if only for a little while.

And yet another boots on the ground gives the thumbs up to PJ. Prepare for the haters to claim you are conspiring with PJ to "micro-cheat" and that you are sleeping with him.
Funny that PJ has tons of boots on the ground and witnesses with clean data that I've analyzed, yet it is Rob Pope that had very few if any boots on the ground and witnesses of his 2018 transon and who's cadence and other data is extremely suspicious.

I would believe every single thing Rob Pope did. He is as trustworthy as they come. Just because he was asking to verify the data doesn't put him on the 'haters' side. No need to attempt to knock him down.

Rob Pope wasn't just "asking to verify the data". He clearly demonstrated that earlier in this thread when he refused to even plot any of the high resolution data we provided. Rob's intentions are malicious and he has no intention of clearing PJ's name.
I'm not a hater of this, or any other questionable run. I just really want people to prepare properly, tech wise, so if questions are asked, things are in place to say FU.
Release all data, there may be fails, but inconsistencies continually adding up? That brings more questions, not answers. Prove people wrong instead of going in the opposite direction and making things worse. Then in fact, there might be a flurry of donations as its verified.
Hope you had a good run and nice to see he's got the support from people but again, claiming a record attempt in order to become a 'celebrity' signing autographs highlights the issue, it doesn't matter if its $1 or $1 million, be true to the sport, raise as much as people are willing to donate and run your own race.
Every tool is there to fix this, tech wise, use them all and release them all. Until that happens, this thread continues to ask questions.

Your hard on for Rob Pope is amongst some of the weirdest s*** you've pulled on here. Where is there any evidence that he's malicious? His comversation with PJ on Insta showed that. He even wished him.good luck. Maybe he can't plot the data, but if he could he wouldn't be using your completely useless stuff. He'd follow someone like DataLoves2. Or...maybe...he'll just wait until PJ releases the Garmin data, like he said he would in New York.
