Nice to bust out the tears now that it's someone foreign, but Sara's performances are suspicious
Perfect example of how dopers change how an entire race plays out for everyone else in the race. Just removing them from results doesn’t come close to rectifying it- including the dreams and prize money stolen. https://t.co/vZFJELFuG2
All these Kenya busts every couple of weeks and people still believe all the performances coming out of that country. It’s over for Kenya in my book. If the IAAF is too afraid to do anything for the fear of being labeled as racist, then meet organizers should take matter into their own hand and ban these people from competing. It’s getting ridiculous at this point.
Shocking that someone who would switch nationalities would have similarly loose principles about doping.
Unfortunately, now a dude is the world champ.
Yeah and the thing is she had to wait years to compete internationally…why you think? Because Kazakhstan paid her a big amount. I’d be suspicious of switching nationalities especially if the athlete has no ties (aka no university time/residency)and misses huge events to do so. Then, it’s all about the money.
I stand corrected on the changing of Worlds results based on Gaults great reporting/convo with her agent. It seems crazy that they made her eligible and allowed her to compete despite ABP irregularities from a while back. Why not provisionally suspend her after the ‘21 season?
What? What event is a white English speaker 12 seconds faster than any non convicted doper or DSD athlete?
Not sure why my post was deleted, but what i said was that before getting popped, Shelby had entered the part of the all-time list occupied by only Soviets and Africans, but instead of it being considered suspicious it was celebrated as the "clean" world record. Are you saying that only when people break records by 12 seconds do we call them suspicious? No, I think it takes a lot less.
Jeruto is only provisionally suspended for a blood passport discrepancy from 2020. Her values were good in'21 and '22. There is no indication that she was doping during the '22 World Champs. The process needs come to it's completion. It's not helpful that some US women runners find it necessary to celebrate Jurotos's provisional suspension before all the facts are out.

If this is the case, I wonder if she’ll get off. Doesn’t feel like an ironclad case if she can argue “I didn’t train and was at sea level, and thus my levels were off.” Then she can point to the rest of her ABP results when she was at altitude/training. I guess we’ll see, and will Kazakhstan foot the bill?
If that happens then the bronze medal will be allocated to...another Kenyan being paid to represent a foreign nation.
And your point is?
Probably that to any reasonable person at this point, the odds of a Kenyan mercenary representing another country being clean is about 0.1%, so who cares if a doper is stripped so another doper can get a medal?

Allegedly from 2020 ("very high in September"), and allegedly her values were "consistent" (with what?) in 21 and 22. This is all from her agent, not an official from the AIU.
But yes, let's wait and see.
Even if the offense dates back to September 2020 though, her (normally 4 year) ban would start then, leading to DQs in all races since that date. Even if she'd only get a 2 year ban (highly unlikely for an ABP violation), she'd get lose her Worlds title.
