i love when people put pre down so much... we're talking about ranking americans right... ok let's look at how they performed against other americans. he hardly EVER lost to other americans... came in 4th in the 5K in the olympics when he was 21 and was close to the WR in the mile, 3k, 5k, and 10k... much closer than kennedy and a bunch of your others on your list, and of course had he lived i think we would have seen him medal (agree probably not gold) in the 76 olympics
