It was only at the age of 41 that she finally started running again, winning 11 national titles in three years in the male T12 category for athletes with visual impairment.
Just curious... what makes you a democrat. You agree with conservatives on this and so I'm curious which issues push you to be a democrat. It certainly shouldn't be economical beliefs because the inflation is way higher than it was under Trump. (Don't read me as a Trump die hard fan, I like some things he did and other things not as much, I don't blindly follow anyone and like to actually think, same reason I can see that only biological females should compete against other women)

Because Dems will not try to reverse it. It is a losing issue for them. They will have to offend either cis hetero women or LGBTQ people.
It's disingenuous to suggest that only "cis hetero women" oppose current policies that allow males into female sports and locker rooms under the guise of "diversity, equity and inclusion."
It's equally misleading - and offensively stereotyping too - to suggest that "LGBTQ people" all think alike, march in lockstep and are in unanimous agreement that this rollback of women's hard-won rights is a good thing.
The fact is, lots of lesbian and bisexual women and girls are against males in female sports, and a fair number of gay and bi men are, too. The majority of heterosexual men are against it as well.
It's further false framing to suggest that heterosexual women are merely offended by these policies. Plenty of women and girls of all sexual orientations are outraged, appalled and incensed by these policies because we consider them patently wrong, gravely unjust, a huge step backwards and a kick in the teeth.
A great many lesbian, bisexual, heterosexual and asexual women all see policies that allow males to enter female sports, locker rooms (and other previously female-only spaces like rape refuges, women's prisons and "battered women's shelters") in the the name of "trans rights" for exactly what it is - a new form of officially-sanctioned sex discrimination against girls and women and blatant favoritism towards boys and men.
Most of the policies and practices put in place to advance "trans inclusion" in sports so far have simply shored up the ages-old ethos and edifice of male supremacy by creating new kinds of male entitlement and male privilege and new excuses for treating females unfairly. Boys and men today have been given free reign to use claims of being "trans" - and now "non-binary" and other newfangled gender identities too - to subject girls and women to more male egotism, arrogance, pushiness, invasiveness, overbearingness, aggression, prurience, sexual harassment, domination and abuse under the pretense that this is a step forward for civil rights.
Indeed, in supposedly "progressive" circles today, the kinds of behaviors that once would have been decried as "toxic masculinity" and described pejoratively as "typically male" are actively encouraged and applauded so long as the boys and men engaging in them claim they are something other than boys and men. Or, as you would say, so long as they are not "cis."
