Calling a suprising upset… Lake Erie freshman to win the 800

That would great . . . it's good to see minnows Lake Erie College (LOL, people actually go to that school?!?) get on the scoreboard--I saw that a javelin thrower got sixth place for them.
Wow, no points for Malone thus far? Back in the day they would have been all over that 10,000m race, but nowadays? Nope.

Boy that didn’t age well.
Coach Schaub wishing he could jump in to save the day :(
I definitely wouldn’t feel safe sending my daughter here

LOL, lowly Lake Erie scored more than seven times as many points as M-alone.
Hell, even Ohio Dominican scored twice as many points as Ma-lone.
Whoops.

Now that most of the season is over, when are we going to start the REAL thread? Of course, I'm referring to XC! Anyone have any juicy way-too-early predictions? Kreft is out of eligibility, so who will be stepping in as champion? Fisher seems like the obvious choice, but as with all GMAC results, things can change at the drop of a hat.

I heard Dalton Graham is coming back to Lake Eerie. Put the house on them sweeping XC titles
Was Nathan Moore injured this past season? When he was a hs senior he looked like he had huge potential in college as a cross country runner. He beat Nathan Mountain for the state championship in pretty convincing fashion. Mountain is a favorite to win the NCAA D1 championship in the steeplechase. I had heard he was transferring from Walsh but no idea if that is true or not.

Nathan Moore is transferring to Liberty. His only injury this year was a broken heart.

XC already? Can we at least get through the NATIONAL championship first? Let’s get the Kreftster one more 4th place finish, he’s not gone yet. I take it your squad won’t be represented there… do you think one of your 20 incoming freshmen guys will make an impact in the fall? Hazen Schmidt for GMAC champ since GMAC is the pinnacle for you guys
First, there's a reason that I said "most of the season," as I was acknowledging the fact that there is still the national championship left, you dolt. Second, this is a GMAC thread, where we are excited about... the GMAC! If you're so uptight about a conference meet, go start your own thread about the regional or national meet. But lets be honest here, this is division 2 XCTF, our sport lives in obscurity most of the time anyway. At least there are a few people here that can be excited about the little things (even if it is a no-name Midwest conference)
