It’s been so long and there have been so many conflicting versions but sis Shelby ever present testing results of all of the supplements she had in her possession?
The people that defended her, her teammates and friends, at least thought they trusted her. They mentally put themselves in their perception of her shoes. Her teammates expect that they would test clean and if they didn't, they would have no explanation for it. What would they do then? That's the source of all the initial defenses. Shelby testing positive at least cracked open that door that its possible to unknowingly test positive and there might be nothing you can do about it and it ruins your career and reputation. It's scary.
The facts are though that none of us really know how Shelby got the drugs in her system because she hasn't told us a believable story so she was suspended.
it's not possible to unknowingly test positive for a steroid like nandrolone it's just what Shelby and other dopers want you to believe.
Shelby knows how it got into her system she's just lying about it.
I understand what you mean but I disagree. Personally I think they're all doping and I'm OK with that. What I'd hate is if they go overboard condemning dopers then get shown up as hypocrites. I don't even mind them going after shelby as a barefaced liar (which i think is worse than her actual doping).
My personal code, even for the Coffee Club guys:
- Dopers - doing what's needed
- Liars and hypocrites - step too far
I would LOVE for someone to get popped and just say it like it is

Clicked post reply by accident. Is Nike going to buy a few burrito trucks, park them in Orlando, and hand out free carne asada burritos to all runners at the trials the way they did with the Alphafly in 2020? If so, don't care what Woody says. I hope he's not eating too many burritos.

You didn’t know that Nike has their athletes injected with nandrolone? The burrito story was actually Houlihan’s attempt to explain how the drug got in her system.

You should specify in the title of the post what Woody you are talking about. My mind went to Joey Woody first because he is from Iowa.
I opened up an incognito tab to check very roughly who is "more known" and searched for, Woody Track. Results for Joey Woody showed up before Woody Kincaid.
I believe you’re stupider by thinking that burrito jokes are funny after almost 2 years. It’s like a sitcom with one episode a year.
They aren't funny. And neither are you.
If we are in agreement that BTC jokes have long ago become unfunny, why did you call me effing stupid. If you thought my response to this he other posterwas serious, then you are the stupid one.

(11) on a separate note, does it bother anyone else that few if any pro runners are coming out denouncing Shelby? I remember there was that open letter with those signatures (Molly Seidel, Alli Buchalski, and I think Allie Ostrander were among them) on it that supported bans and clean sports, but none of the signers, to my knowledge, publicly came about and said “this is nonsense: Shelby is coping.”
Molly Seidel et al. basically all said something I find very reasonable. Chiefly, that they did not know exactly what happened, however the anti-doping governing bodies analyzed the data and came to a conclusion that she should be banned. Allowing Shelby to run in the Olympic Trials despite this process (because she was part of a Nike group with a lot of clout who was a rising star from the US) set a dangerous precedent that international governing bodies could be ignored, especially if coming from a group with a lot of clout from an athlete who was doing well on the world stage. This sets a bad precedent for clean sports and makes US athletes, especially Nike athletes, appear immune to process that other athletes must undergo and which would ultimately make anti-doping efforts weaker.
Whether they personally believe that she was doping or not is besides the point in terms of their issue with the shenanigans over whether she would be allowed to run in the Olympic trials.

Quit while you're behind.
Calling someone effing stupid while not even being a registered user is garbage.
as another poster said, it's likely because they want to avoid offending Nike or alienating other runners. not because they believe she is clean.
Even Gault has stated in an interview with Chris Derrick that most people he speaks to at meets believe she was dirty.
There are many "another poster"s that say many things, mostly speaking without any relevant knowledge.
It is true that Gault stated that in an interview about "most people he speaks to", and also that many people "believe" she was dirty -- again speaking without any real knowledge.
Like Woody, Chris Derrick, in that Gault interview, said something quite opposite of "most people" -- speaking from his personal knowledge of Shelby, and Jerry.
The verb that stands out the most in your post to me is one you used twice: "believe".
The real joke is that posters here still claim to believe that the roids were in the burrito. Some of those trolls will never stop.
Even Woody just said that they might have been in the burrito but at least he wasn't pretending it was for sure.
The possibility of nandrolone in pork and making it into the US food supply (as many as 12,000 pigs per year before the COVID pandemic interrupted supplies and USDA inspection) was something confirmed by both AIU experts, and the CAS.
The main reason behind the strong belief among unknowledgeably posters here is that they are not able to distinguish between the general likelihood of an event occuring for any randomly chosen instance, across the general population, over time, and the likelihood that such unlikely events will most certainly happen to someone, somewhere, and sometime, given enough opportunities.
Such an exceptionally occuring event cannot be proved by relying on population statistics, but most certainly requires finding and testing the sample in question -- something nearly impossible when put on notice 1 month after the fact.
