We have closed this thread to new posts. Commenting on two of the NCAA's top runners training together for the 1st time thanks to an Instagram post is acceptable discourse, but like most threads by page 5, it's gone totally off topic and devolved into two people arguing back and forth.
In the photo the runner on the left with braids is Savannah Shaw. The tall girl in the middle with dark hair is Hannah Gapes. Katelyn Tuohy is on the right and in the original picture Kelsey Chmiel was on the far right. They are running on the American Tobacco Trail in Raleigh. Amaris Tyynismaa is not pictured as she is still in Alabama.
Not sure about the other facts, but I do know the American Tobacco Trail isn't in Raleigh. Try Durham and then South into Chatham and Wake County.

Not in Raleigh city limits, yeah. But part of it is in Wake county (county where Raleigh is located). It’s not far from campus, and Coach Henes and NC State team members have mentioned in many interviews that this is one of their top spots to run.

Well yes, it's an awesome place to run. Near Raleigh. In Durham. And unincorporated Chatham and Wake counties. ;) I've run every inch of it.
Amaris and not sure who is in the middle are wearing Takumi Sen 8's and Tuohy is wearing Boston 9's.
Crazy how Tuohy is still wearing Boston 9s 😲 She started using it 2020, and said that she never trains in super-shoes, or any newer and advanced shoe. She only uses super-shoes on race days. That's a clever thing to do!
Coincidentally, there is a story up on Savannah Shaw's Instagram right now with a video of the team running a trail -- including Shaw, Starliper, Chmiel, and you can barely see Tuohy at one point beside Chmiel. In the video, it is clearly Shaw running closest to the camera.
If you look closely in the video, you can see the tattoo on Shaw's lower left back that I posted about earlier in this thread. This further confirms that the person in the picture in the initial post in this thread that is believed to be Tyynismaa is definitely not Savannah Shaw.
What is your deal? Is your goal to have us believe that Tyynismaa is not at NC State?
Are you such a hater of Tuohy or NC State that you want us all to believe that no one should even follow women's distance running, because "only creepy old men" do so? 😂🤣🤣

I thought this "including Shaw, Starliper" was the most significant thing as both were hurt dor most of XC season.
