I agree. The pressure can be a lot at that age. I’ve talked to his parents and they seem to be focusing on the long term and bend over backwards to not push him and let him decide how much he wants to do, but the external pressure gets to a lot of kids.

To the OP, I saw he ran a 9:53 2-mile. New 11 year old word record.
