17th to cross the line might be Sam Chelanga. Hasn't conquered this classic distance yet, PB of 2.15.02 when 15th in Chicago back in 2017, but is all class over 15 to 25k.

17th woman should be Celestine Chepchirchir, 4th in Seoul last year in 2.20.10.
Next could be Sheila Chepkirui, third on debut in Valencia in 2.17.29. PB at the half of 64.36 when third at RAK last year.
Sixth may be Fancy Chemutai. Finally worked out how to run a marathon as well as her other road runs when fifth in Valencia this last December in 2.18.11. Was tenth in that same city in 2020 in 2.24.27 then was 6th in Berlin in 2021 in 2.24.58
Hellen Obiri added, placing her 6th between these two.

Seems like Sheila is now waiting to run London next week. That makes Hellen fifth and Fancy 6th.
Next may be Herpasa Negasa, PB of 2.03.40 when second in Dubai in 2019. Best since was second in Seoul last year in 2.04.49
Tenth may be Daniel Do Nascimento. You know he is going to be near the lead at some point early. His NR is 2.04.51 when third in Seoul last year. Went on to finish 8th at Worlds. Ran 2.06.11 when ninth in Valencia in 2021.
Daniel the fist bumper isn't in the Athletics Weekly preview. Is the Brazilian out?

Next lady may be the 43yo Edna Kiplagat. Fourth both here and NY last year. Twice World Champ, won here 2017, London 2014, and NY 2010. PB of 2.19.50 when runner-up in London in 2012. Sinead Diver's O/45 WR of 2.21.34 seems safe from Edna when she makes that age.

Just read an article that said Edna is the defending Champ and hot favourite. Lol
Next might be Andamlak Belihu. In Berlin last year ran through halfway on Kipchoge's shoulder in 59.51. Ended up still running a three min PB after fading in the final kilometres.
