I would like more details like when did this take place? If the married couple were dating 20 years ago, then I would say times were different. Maybe there was no rule against it then. There is now.
That might suck but rules change over time.

The question seems so strange and odd.Why would anyone care about other people's personal lives .People do date each other its human nature .Seems pretty normal to develop feelings for someone that you spend a lot of time with sharing a activity that you are both passionate about .

Seriously? It's easier to meet people "these days" than it ever has been with online dating. Even without online dating, there's a whole pool of college students at your school who you do not have any authority over. Not to mention other people in the city. If your school is in a small town or you don't think you have time to meet people outside the team, you picked the wrong school and program.
