Also another 8th grader - Isaak Feuerhelm
Look how many Jefferson freshmen boys there are in the 3200. All of them are freshmen. And this doesn’t include the Altstatt brothers who are on varsity and ran a 16:34.

A couple of Sophomores made a statement at last night's Roseville meet:
Robert Mechura ran a 9:10 3200.
Laura McClary ran a 5:04 1600. I hadn't heard of her before...but she's apparently one to keep an eye on.
Looks like McClary’s PR was a 5:19, which is what she ran the first 2 meets of the season.
Last year she went from a 5:55 to a 5:20. She’s been making good progress.
I see Ali from Hopkins is in 4x8, 16, and 3200. Is he going to have to pull out of one event or did the rule change?
Here's the rule:
"Athletes are limited to competing in a max of 4 events (3 field & 1 running; 2 field & 2 running; 1 field and 3 running). An athlete may do no more than 2 running events of 800 meters or longer."
So it looks like Ali will need to scratch in one event.
