Looks like Dowling, Valley, SCN, DCG and Waukee were in the same section for XC last year.
Any news on whether some of these teams got moved to a different xc section?
Anyone have a list of new xc section assignments for 4A?

They decide one week prior. They place 4 top 20 teams in each district.

He always seems to be in the middle of trouble.
Paityn Noe just split 9:31 for the first 3k of the NON 5k 😳
Would be #3 all time in Iowa, which she already is. All time record is 9:24.
Noe wins in 16:04. Excited to watch her progress at Arkansas. She should be ready to make an immediate impact in the fall.

Sensational run for Noe. I got to see her run at Griak and Nike Heartland last Fall. I’m sure that Arkansas is delighted to have her.
You guys don’t understand that people are getting faster across the board. Times aren’t what they used to be
Hope so but history is not on her side. Ripslinger got injured there. Erzen didn't PR this year. The other two most recent national class runners from Iowa, Milani and Jenks, both bombed in college.
She has the fastest time in the country. You can downplay it against historical times but she finished 3rd at NXN and 1st yesterday which makes her one of the best in the nation.

Erzen played soccer all fall and eased into track this year. We'll see what happens in the future but nobody really expects a dual sport college freshman to make a big jump. She may have to choose and soccet moght win bjt that doesnt mean she bombed out.
Erzen played soccer all spring during high school. Not running faster in college when she was able to focus in track is not a good sign. I expect her to focus on soccer.
Interestingly, Riplsinger did the same thing in high school and had very similar PRs.
