As a teacher I'd expect you to have greater critical thinking skills than this. The 7x and 41% claims of rate and success are false. Most studies put it at 2x at most for both (lots of research at the NIH feel free). Sure that's higher than the general population but the rate of suicide is very low or in line with other mental illness. You can treat people as kind as you want but the mental illness is the risk factor. Additionally, highlighting and dramatizing suicide rates no matter what they are is against best practices within public health because it has a paradoxical effect of increasing suicide.
The majority of gender non-conforming children grow to be normal, functioning adults through counselling without surgical or hormonal intervention. Most gender non-conforming kids don't need counselling at all but the freedom to be who they are.
