I knew his $100,000 win Abu Dhabi was too good to be true, but for a different reason (the course was short). Now his whole career appears to be a fraud.

LOL, yes, drug cheat Kipserem beat drug cheat Kiptum at Abu Dhabi.
In other news: Kipserem is the 3rd from Kipchoge's sub 2 team to get sanctioned, and the 15th Kenyan since July 2022, see
Ohhhh boy
This is becoming like cheating on your taxes. Many do it but only the less sophisticated are getting caught.
New Kenyan almost every day, whats new.
Every single one of them is on something. Some get lucky or some are a tad bit smarter like Sir Mo by hiding in his bathroom. Just imagine the preposterous notion that there are 'clean' winners who beat a sea of cheaters.
I've updated the thread title to reflect the fact that Matt Lawton of the Times of London is reporting this is the third Kipchoge sub-2 pacer to be popped for doping. The thread was initially titled, "2016 and 2019 Rotterdam champ plus 2018 Abu Dhabi champ Marius Kipserem (2:04:04 pb) confesses to EPO usage".
If it looks too good to be true, then it probably is.
Who are the other 2 pacers that have been pinched? Are they all NN athletes?
It won’t be shocking when the AIU gets Kipchoge by surprise next.
Hypothetically, if kipchoge is banned for doping after berlin, he'd still be the wr holder and a millionaire.
It's bad business to ban the most likable and marketable athletes in your sport. Kipchoge is never getting banned.
Another racist thread. 😉😈
Hopefully the net will finally close in on Fraudchoge.
Here he is talking about pacemaking for Kipchoge :
According to the article that Casual Observer linked to :
Kipserem trains with Rosa e Associati, Nike-sponsored training group in Kenya, alongside half-marathon world record holder Jacob Kiplimo and 2021 Chicago champion Seifu Tura. Lawrence Chrono and Emmanuel Saina, who both received doping bans this year, were also part of the group.
That is apaprently run by Gabriele Rosa. Presumably he is the brother of Frederico Rosa?
Careful guys, Covett and Armstronglivs can only get so hard.
In all seriousness, this is a really big deal, and I'm definitely starting to walk back on a lot of my thoughts on African vs European runners. Seems to be more drugs than anything else. I wonder if any super high-profile Kenyan runners will get popped next...
With clearly a rampant doping culture in East Africa (likely the vast majority of elite and sub-elites are taking whole cocktails of drugs), I would say that the Japanese are probably the more talented distance runners. If you gave every East African marathoner a 5 minute time penalty (which is conservative, especially for the science experiments such as Kipchoge), then the Japanese would be dominating the top of the ranking lists. If the Japanese had the same doping culture as East Africa, you would get 5 to 10 Japanese each year inside Kipchoge's WR.
There were two recently, Alex Korio in July and Philemon Kacheran and now Kipserem, the original list of the 41 pacers is on Wikipedia (can't link sorry)
They are of course being airbrushed on the official ineos159 site (can't link either sorry)
In the past Kipchoge's favorite pacer (Berlin 2018 for instance), Sammy Kitwara was suspended too at the end of 2019. He never came back...
rac·ism| ˈrāˌsizəm | noun
prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against a person or people on the basis of their membership in a particular racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or marginalized. . .
So apparently dopers now constitute a racial or ethnic group. And banning them from competition is a form of marginalization. Oh the injustice.
Yes, and let's not forgot Rutto, another Sang athlete, who doped so hard-core that his hgb went up to 19.2 g/dl. Actually his early 18.4 g/dl along with ret-% = 0.43 was enough to get banned... At least Sang didn't claim it was all caused by altitude, lol.
Kipchoge looks more and more like El G, both with respect to dominance and doped teammates.
