I'm a Jordan fan and think it's silly people world suggest she just stops. If she is enjoying it and cashing Nike checks just keep going. Throw out whatever this 5k/HM result is, and just look at the last few years. It's obvious something major has changed. Going from 2:20 to 2:37, 2:33, 2:41 shows this isn't a one time bomb. Even in her half races she hasn't been near her marathon pr pace.
My question is during some of the past training blocks her comments seemed to indicate she had really good fitness? Is she actually training at levels that would indicate <2:25 fitness or is she just being positive bc it's her job and training is indicating 2:35+ fitness? If she was getting out to 20 miles and falling apart I would look at it one way, but she is not even starting off at paces she would need.
