assume jerry will stay the head coach of both programs, writing workouts, dictating overall philosophy and personnel, and assistants will handle a lot of the day to day.
as others have said, jerry wasn't at altitude with BTC full-time, so they're capable of handling a lot themselves and he probably was getting bored in portland. can continue to make some occasional 1-3 day trips from eugene to park city.
seemed to me from interviews of the BTC athletes at Worlds that they were going to be relocating to Eugene, and they had the safe answer that Jerry would be coaching both the Ducks and BTC and the assistants positions were up in the air at the time; Doing both going to be easier said then done, but maybe Jerry sees the writing on the wall with BTC long-term, since it isn't like the new college grads were beating down his door recently!
I also think that BTC is largely self sufficient at this point. Jerry writes the workouts, but somebody else can hold the stopwatch. I read that he doesn't stay with them at altitude, but just flies in for a few of the key workouts. Some of those BTC guys have been with him for more than a decade now so im sure they know the drill.
Most of the established BTC athletes will be fine but what about people like Elise Cranny? She clearly overstretched herself this year to a point where it was harmful. A hands-on coach would have caught that early.
And what about new recruits to BTC? Does it convince you that athletes are valued when the coach is hardly ever there for you? You might say it's just about writing the programme, but coaching is more than that. It's a relationship between coach and athlete. How will Schumacher know how to get the best from athletes he hardly sees or knows? Especially young athletes who don't really know themselves and are just finding their feet in the sport? The best teams in any sport are those where the coaches are present and visibly invested in their athletes.
The people in BTC already will probably be ok, but any young pro would be a fool to go there right now if they have other options.

As I've already said in other threads. This move is the beginning of the end of BTC. All the problems that have already plagues BTC (overtraining athletes, no really personalized plans of injured or load is problematic etc etc) will just be amplified in this new situation. If you are thinking of jumping the ship the time is now before the move. And I totally doubt that many consider joining BTC if the young grads right now. No more influx and many departing = slow death. With Jerry & shalane being all set up with the new Oregon job why would they even care so much if BTC gets slowly smaller and irrelevant?
I don’t understand this sentiment. If you were the coach and former teammate of an athlete who you regard like a younger sibling, and you believe they are innocent, what would you do in that situation?

Nike will want a flagship training group. More likely BTC gets merged with OTC under a new coaching team

I honestly cannot imagine being such a person. With all the evidence (see e.g. Tucker for a neutral perspective IF you don't trust AIU and WADA and CAS and SFT), what kind of person can still believe that the roids were in the burrito?
Most likely, that's all simply part of the PR to stop BTC from getting dismantled too quickly.
How can Flanagan defend this statement? Houlihan has admitted after the fact that it probably was not a buritto but it was the only defense she could come up with.
Alberto Salazar building. Everyone knew he was a cheater as an athlete NIKE CELEBRATED IT
Lance Armstrong building
Joe Paterno Child Development Center
Cheating is their culture and Americans celebrate it.
Too much of America is obsessed with winning at all costs, superficial appearance, and money. Nike is a mere reflection of that ugliness in the sports world. The best thing you can do is stop buying their product.
