They won’t have anybody to replace Bracken next year though. Yeah they’ll be deep, but there will be a big gap between their 1 and 2
This is why Mas Jackson will beat them next year and could win state.
Kilbourne will be in the mix too if their 4 and 5 can step up. They got a nice 1-2-3 back.
Those 3 are probably the top 3 teams next year. Chardon has a good returning squad as well. Teams like Mason and St. X will probably contend to some degree, but they won't be touching Jackson, North or Kilbourne
Mason does return 2 guys who went sub 16 last year and another guy who went sub-17 for the first time this year, and they could have guys come out of nowhere during track, but 3-peating is hard especially if you lose so many seniors.

I would never count Mason out and would never say that they won't be touching anyone. As Weerzeer said, sometimes they just seem to have guys appear out of nowhere. Same with the Mason girls.

Trust me I'm not lol, that's why I mentioned them. I meant more that I would pick the other 3 over them at the moment, but yeah they definitely aren't out of the conversation after this year

We're not even halfway through 2022 and people want to talk about 2023? How does 2028 look, any promising 5th graders out there?
Wow…one of Mason’s returners from the state team last year was only their 7th man at this meet. And that was without their top guy. That’s how deep Mason is.

personally I feel like 1 year vs 6 is a substantial difference but that's just me

Speaking of 5th graders:
Here is what the Herriman UT time trial looked like. This is the new team that Doug Soles coaches. There was a 5th grader in this race
