Rosemount - Honestly it's a toss up between the top3. Would love to see Harder's squad get the win here with his son being a senior. Can't have an off race for anyone in the top5.
Lakeville North - My pick at the beginning of the year and will most likely have the benefit of a lowest scoring #1 between the 3 teams. If their guys can stick to the corresponding guys on Wayzata & Rosemount, they could win it.
Wayzata - Only picking them here because I'd love to see other teams succeed. There is a reason this team is strong every year, great coaching and very hard work.
Minnetonka - Agree that they are vulnerable to MV and maybe Stillwater, but they're only scoring 4 guys essentially. Would be fun to see the elder Fries have a comeback race.
Mounds View - Been sleeping on them a bit this year, but they are rounding into form and I think McArthur will have a solid race.
Stillwater - Great season for them to come back with a better team than last year despite losing 5 seniors. This will be great experience for the underclassmen.
Bloomington Jefferson - Nice to see the Jaguars back in the conversation. It's been years! This will also serve as great experience for their young guys (of which there are many!)
Eden Prairie - Deep team. They could probably take down Jefferson, but I don't see them making a huge leap above that. They most likely won't finish much lower either because of their depth. It'll be tough for them to make it back to state next year.
MPLS Washburn - They are a team that could move up a few spots if they're 5th has a big day. If not, they'll be a of folks between their 4 & 5 man.
Lakeville South - Solid team, should lock down a top 10 spot.
