Russell was a 4.55 guy for 40 yards. Now he looks like a 4.75 guy. This is changing the way defenses plan for him. Russell was a very good passer but he was never a great passer. He looked great because of his mobility. Now we see the truth.
So you acknowledge that career stats should be weighed against age and career life cycle, yet you can’t see how this relates to Russ.
33 is not old for an NFL QB.
Actually it is old for an NFL QB, and it is ancient for a mobile QB. Don’t be blinded by Tom Brady. Russell turns 34 next month and he is no longer the same guy. You are a bit slow to get this.

Horrible trade and contract by the Broncos. They screwed themselves.
I agree with this.
In my eyes, you mortgage the future ONLY if you have ALL the pieces except QB and think you can win it all immediately.
What they gave up for Wilson, especially high round future draft picks and cap implications, is an absolute disaster unless he was the last piece of the puzzle and guaranteed to be one of the top 3 players (regardless of position) in the NFL.
Wilson was not the only piece Denver needed and he is not one of the top 3 players in the NFL.
I think this was a terrible move by Denver that will take years to reconcile.
Who are his wide receivers, ever heard of any of them. who is his TE? That o line is bad, problems at running back.
Dude, give it a season, like the grown ups do, ok?
The Broncos have very talented wide receivers. Sorry you don’t know football. They do have issues with the offensive line and their top running back is injured.
Dude wanna tak Lionel Taylor the first WR to have a 100 catch season, yep...a Bronco, cool the silly BS. They don't have a Tyler Lockett, they don't have a stud TE,
Being only a know nothing would think w know anything this early in a season, I'll give it some time knowing that Wilson is Hall of Fame bound.

So what's wrong with "Russ"? Well can be a few things
1) He's past his peak (which when you consider he's just 33 and Brady is 45 seems hard to imagine even if they play very different styles of game)
2) He just doesn't care anymore and wanted his retirement contract (5 years 245 million is pretty good)
3) He's doing some weird sort of pouting/diva sh$t out there based on the infamous week 1 "FG" incident in Seattle and the deserved criticism of his lackluster play so far
4) He was always overrated in Seattle and only had success behind a terrific defense and running game that evaporated when those parts disappeared. Classic "fools gold" situation where he played in a division that largely inconsistent for the decade he was in it (by that I mean there were always 1-2 really bad teams in any given season that basically guaranteed 3-4 victories no matter what) and where he was allowed to play "Russ first" football by his coach (which ultimately cost them a ring and obliterated a potential dynasty).
So take your pick out of those but either way his play this year has been utterly pathetic for a guy who is pocketing 57 million dollars this season.

You are the guy on the Titanic who says “I wanna give it some time” because the Captain of the ship had a nice resume.

When a QB has put up the numbes Wilson has for a decade then makes a move you do give it some time to jell, simply how things are done rookie.

Wilson played in 9 pro bowls in 10 seasons. nobody won more games. No QB ever had better numbers their first 10 season than Russell Wilson, challenge.......find one who did.
Great QB trying to find himself on a new team struggling right now, so ya give things some time.
By year 4 it was.....hes a bust.....talking O.J.Simpson.
