you know what to do.
you know what to do.
Fu*k me. That is bullsh*t.
I certainly don’t mind who the commentators are, as long as I can watch the races. As someone without cable, I rely on streaming and peacock has been a godsend
I stick with Peacock and just mute it - not hard at all to follow what is happening. Names on bibs and results displayed - no need to listen to that idiot Diffey (unless, of course, something happens like a false start)
Its not the announcers that bug me but the "commercials" screen saying "coverage will resume shortly"...
I don't like it, but at least it gives us a way to see it live on the west coast. Last night, they were going blank during commercial breaks (Peacock - your program will return shortly), but tonight, the commercials are showing. Weird.
People in this Generation are so Lucky, The World Champs are on NBC, CNBC, USA, and Peacock, They used to have it all on 1 Station NBC. Everything is so much easier now.
Yeah, I'm sitting here wondering why the f*** I paid these scumbags extra so I wouldn't have to watch commercials,... and I'm sitting here watching f***ing commercials --one after another after another.
Can someone explain this?
Is there no way to get international feed on peacock tonight? A lot of times they have both broadcasts but I don't see international feed.
It’s wonderful to hear the heights and distances being given in feet, inches, and fractions of an inch when the event is in metric.
And this is an issue because…?
The world feed over the weekend is far far superior to the nbc feed. No commercials, talk about all the athletes a lot more, and almost zero human interest nonsense.
Have fun watching the tape delay broadcast NBC fans! All the big races are already spoiled for you if you came to the boards though lol.
They were quite good for the 1500, the guy f-ing went nuts when Wightman took the lead, appropriately capturing the moment.
Why pay for peacock? It’s so easy to watch on YouTube for free. Download any free VPN service, put location to Hongkong and you can then watch on world athletics official stream free and ad free might I add! Literally took me 3 minutes to set up.
Wow. Are we just lucky in Canada? I click on CBC stream, (no tv/cable for me), great coverage, no commercials, great commentary.
You can exist live feed and come back in the same second and will be blank screen (coming back shortly.)
But I prefer 1st weekend 2 feed options. Even if I had to (sometimes) listen to Gail D ;-)
No, unfortunately :-(
Watch Athletics has always good info https://www.watchathletics.com/schedule/watchlive/6184 and there's World Athletics' YouTube feed, but you have to Vpn to the middle of Africa I suppose since nearly every major country has TV broadcast.
I mean, NBC could double ads for me, but keep the live screen on all the time!
Absolutely, but why don't they have it during the week? Is there a reason?
