Athing Mu's best friend and 800/400h runner, Dominique Mustin, just transferred from Texas A&M to Georgia. I certainly didn't expect that to happen.
Anyone know the story behind that?

Titus Winders, indoor 3000 & 5000 D2 champion, transfers from Southern Indiana to Iowa State. It's a good move because Southern Indiana is moving to D1 which means the school is ineligible to compete at Nationals for something like 3-4 years.

She mentioned that the training program wasn't a fit for her and also she wasn’t progressing as she expected. They also are loosing their top 200 sprinter laila owens she has yet to commit tho.

It seems odd that a school like Texas A&M, who is well known for training programs that get excellent results specifically for the 400 and 800 (which are her two distances) was not a good fit for her.
I think there might be something else going on.

It may very well be but she has been transparent about her decision to a degree on her youtube. She will also be primarily a hurdler at UGA

Dominque Mustin primary event is the 400h. My source stated to me that she’s leaving due to a decline in progression. What played a significant role of her choosing A&M in the first place is her best friend Athing Mu.
However, A&M best female sprinters are in the portal or has already committed to another school, excluding Cherokee Young. Is she next though?
Laila Owens is a sprinter that A&M really can’t afford to lose. Something is definitely wrong on that campus regarding A&M ladies sprinters.21 -

You made that up. Dominique Mustin only become friends with Athing Mu AFTER Dominique Mustin started her freshman year at Texas A&M. Athing Mu had nothing to do with Dominique Mustin deciding to go to Texas A&M.

OK. That makes sense. I didn't realize she already got her bachelor degree.
