Loved these two videos. And I'm in the Eagle Creek video (twice)!
Girls 2023 predictions
1- Johnston IA. Placed 5th and return their entire squad. Also has another new freshman coming in who ran a 19:46 at Heartland a year ago. And 2 more who finished highly at the middle school race.
2- Minnetonka MN. Looking to be hungry after not winning state and getting third place at NXR. They return 4 of their top 5.
3- St Paul Highland Park MN. Placed 6th and only loses 1 senior
4- Centennial MN. Did not run in this race but finished 4th at state and returns everyone. So they are looking to place 4th in an even bigger meet if they choose to do it
5- Farmington MN. Strong program. They are getting better each season. This team is looking to do big things now that they will be lead by a couple of seniors.
6- Edina MN. Peaking at NXR is what they always do. Even though they got edged out at by Prior Lake at sections, they got revenge on them at NXR. Looking to be the same next year. Maybe Edina will beat Prior Lake at sections too.
7- Prior Lake MN. Looking to put up another fight against Edina for a spot at state.
8- Dubuque IA. They got 3rd at the state meet. But loses only 1 person. I think they will beat Dubuque Hempstead who loses 4 seniors.
9- Valley IA. 15th at NXR and the whole team is back
10- Kaukauna WI. Placed 3rd at the WI state meet and has the whole team back. Also has 2 sets of siblings on varsity
Watchlist: Dubuque Hempstead (needs a 4 and 5), Wayzata, Hopkins, Northfield
Individuals:
1- Sydney Drevlow
2- Norah Hushagen
3- Katelyn Rupe
4- Luna Scorzelli
5- Sara Mlodik
6- Addison Dorenkamp
7- Kate Schmoll
8- Marissa Long. 4th at state but must have had an off race at Heartland
9- Faith Wehrman
10- Olivia Verde
Watchlist - Daphne Grobstein. Placed high at state and NXR last year but is running a minute slower this year. She may or may not get back to where she left off last year
Leaving Linnea Ousdigian (MV) off your list is (wait for it) scandalous. Won 5AAA and was second in the Suburban East (18:07) as an 8th grader. 10th at State. Ran Family pedigree of collegiate runners, and runs at a top-level program.
No, not related, but she is going to be a star if she's not already.
Yeah but she will need to make a big jump to make the top 10. She got 46th at NXR, but I can see her step up since she is an 8th grader. Mackenzie Babcock and Isabelle Schmitz are dark horses too
Also 8th grader Evie Malec who will try to lead this team to finally win state and make NXN
Other dark horses on the boys side next year would be Nolan Sutter and Hootie Hage
Hootie Hage could have MAYBE went to NXN with his team in 2020 had NXN been held. Prior Lake was the #1 team in MN that year
Bloomington Jefferson and Mankato East are good dark horses to include. East won AA state and loses only 1 senior
Other guys from Nebraska to watch next year will be Isaac Ochoa and Juan Gonzalez. Gonzalez actually won state over Witte (just like his team over his team) and could break out as a star in a couple of years. He is also in a program that will help him do it
Carson Noecker is not entered in the Champ Sports (other name for Footlocker and Eastbay)
Birnbaum and Korsmo are entered too
15th at NXN. How you feel
Wow. You had to really care to go back and find that. The message was based on facts so it doesn't exactly make you look better to dig it out.
Sounds like Liam Anderson from Stanford to me
Actually, I remembered when someone made that post.
He is committed to South Dakota State University
Will be exciting to finally see how he does against some real competition, and to see that he will be training with the people his level
Now this one aged like a crumb
please familiarize yourself with Kate miller and the fems from Olathe west, fresh off the breakup with nova frosh Nick Sullivan, she is ready to rip the trails. She is the absolute darkest horse to win nxn this year but she should not be counted out.
Go away. She isn't even the best girl on her team and none of the girls on their team are contenders to win any meet. They have a good group of good girls but none of them are nationally competitive individually. Bree and Kalyn spank her regularly.
listen here buddio, enough of this "spanking" talk, its inappropriate. Saying she isnt in contention to win any meet is wild, what kind of name do you have anyways "Rodgers sells to love" come on now. Have some class.
