I can't wait for Worlds. If I was Lyles, I'm not sure I would have done that as I think Knighton is the future, but as a fan, I love it. It makes things much more exciting and gives the mainstream sports media something to talk about.
I remember playing early sports video games where a player score a touchdown and then proceed to just stop right after crossing the goal line and then robotically walk away. That's what some of y'all want actual athletes to act like.
of course he is the future - kid is 17 and almost beat the world champion right there. Maybe he loses to him in worlds, but each year because of his natural body growth he is going to be a lot stronger. Lyles's body is done growing naturally.

There's plenty of rivalry and ego...I'm sure thousands of running fans have come here looking for a friendly and quaint running site ...let's run sounds so inviting. Until they see how runners are.
