The whole Ethiopian team, Kimeli, Krop, Kiplimo, and Cheptegei can all run that pace comfortably and still close a lot quicker than 60. I can see him beating two of those on a very good day so I think 5h is his ceiling in the 5k. I honestly think Kincaid is a better medal prospect in the 5k since there's always the chance the race goes slow and he has good foot speed

I don't think it's a stretch to think that Fisher is as much of a medal threat this year as Ahmed was last year.

Exactly. He might not have that 25s last 200 speed in an ultra slow race, but he has enough "kick" to drop a quick last 200 in a decently fast race.
