katelyn has a speaking event /fanmeet on atlanta track club's running camp on july 10-15 ish !! maybe she can head to portland to run this meet then fly to alabama for the running camp !!? maybe this fits in her sched ! what a busy summer !
Schweizer and Cranny have her measure, but I think she’s got a decent shot against everyone else. She’s tough as nails, so if someone takes it out hard, she’s got a great chance of hanging in there, making the team and coming away with a big PR.

I think her attending a race will take priority over her talking to creeps like you
its actually a running camp for the young runners, middleschoolers and highschoolers
other sports have die hard fans, distance running not so but katelyn has a lot.. shacarri got tons of fans doing the same on twitter, so ?? maybe get used to it? how many times have we have to explain ABC to yall?
katelyn tuohy is popular. she has fans. altho yes, theres tons of creeps, naysayers but more fans~

Yes. But people who dislike rabid fans are not creeps. I am a ND fan but I find that many people hate the fan base because so many enter every season with higher than rational expectations. People don't like the fan base constantly talking about the team. The same is true of player like Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers. It isn't that people hate the players or teams, they really hate the fans. You have created the same situattion for Tuohy. She a great NCAA runner and seems like a nice person but your emotional rants and bullying have caused many posters to appear to dislike her when they actually want her to fail in order to get to you and other posters. That is how it is in other sports. It isn't just good teams that people dislike. People hate the raiders and vowboys even when they go years with losing records because their fans continue overstate expectations.

Tuohy has no chance to qualify.
you had an answer on the OP's first question all along why write a poem to the fans, lol but ok u seem so ignorant about the other side of this site, for years and years she has received insults, rumors, fake stories, burnout washed up predictions, trolling, long before i started fighting back at trolls - before u judge, look at the past threads - even media knows and has written about it
when people hate athletes with lots of fans, it is simply because they are just insecure, fans mind their own business talking about their fave athletes, staying at our/their lane.. but insecure people just cannot take it, it irks them seeing an athlete get talked about every time but not theirs.. hence they start hating

for short, people hate the more popular teams and athletes, because whether they win or lose, theyd still get the most attention
its ok, i get that, sadly i cant fix that for u...
Don't get me wrong I am a huge Katelyn Tuohy fan and happy she won her first NCAA title, but this is a big ask of the newly crowned champ. Here's a look at the big names:
Cranny ran 14:33 indoors, and 30:14 outdoors so even though she pulled out of the 10k champs I have a feeling she will be ready. She has such a huge margin of error that even if she is off I doubt she will be in danger of missing the team. I don't think that she will get the win though.
Kelati is interesting, because she blitzed some insanely fast road races then seems to not quite reach that level on the track. She could only manage fifth at USA 10ks, but bounced back to run 14:57 recently so the fitness is clearly there. If she has a mediocre day I still think she will be top 6, good day she could sneak in for third.
Schweizer is the one to beat IMO. She is entered in the 1500 as well, but I doubt she will want to do the 1500/10k at worlds so she might just run the prelim of the 1500 to shake her legs out. She outkicked Monson at USAs to win the 10k champs in 30:49 (a woman who just ran 14:31 in the 5k), ran a recent 4 flat 1500, and, oh yeah, closed the last 5k of the 10k sub 15.
Henes recently ran 15:07 and 9:18 (two mile), and ran a 4:07 1500. I think she is right on par with Tuohy (4:06 and solo 15:14 PBs) and its a tossup between the two.
Fraser recently ran 15:05 and is finally closing back in on the form of the season where she went 14:48 indoors. If Tuohy has a GREAT day she could beat her, but I put the odds 70% Fraser 30% Tuohy.
Purrier I am confident will make the 1500 team, so I don't think she will start the 5k.
I don't think Norris will make the 1500, thus she will start the 5k, but she has been off of form as of late.
Rogers, Infeld, and Morgan have all run well recently, with Rogers (15:05) making the 10k team, Infeld narrowly missing (and running 15:0x), and Morgan running 4:04. Heck even O'Keefe is making huge strides, after a 15:30 start to the season she just ran 15:05.
So, long story short, I don't think she will make the team. There are so many big names and I think Tuohy can contend but a team birth is a big ask.
I love your analysis but remember that Henes ran her 15:07 with only one shoe for 6 laps, so I'm guessing that performance is worth at least 15:00. That should put her ahead of Tuohy
Off a fast pace I can see her improve a lot (20 - 30) seconds off of her 15:14, but that is probably not enough to make the team. I think she has a better shot at making the team off of a slow pace, since she has a pretty good kick.
Schweizer and Cranny have her measure, but I think she’s got a decent shot against everyone else. She’s tough as nails, so if someone takes it out hard, she’s got a great chance of hanging in there, making the team and coming away with a big PR.
Exactly and cranny is a big question mark!!! Honestly I think she's almost better off in a slow race... I don't think there's many other runners with faster 1500 times...
Semihaze, please give it a rest. It's wonderful that you are such a supportive fan of KT, who is a very talented athlete and seems to be a nice young lady, but your defensiveness and explanations go on and on. Are you a fan of any other T&F athletes? If you are, how about posting about them, too?
